How many portable restroom units do I need for my guests?

When someone calls for information on renting a portable toilet or temporary restroom, one of the first questions they ask is – how many will I need for my event? There are several factors that need to be taken into consideration:
  • How many people do you expect?
  • How long does the event last?
  • Will alcohol be served?
  • What is the weather forecasted to be?
  • What level of physical activity is involved?
Arne's specializes in providing portable toilets for all types of events whether it involves a small intimate group or a sizable crowd. We serve all of northeastern Oregon.
The chart below will help you begin planning your event needs.
Our units have a 60-gallon holding tank and will fill up after 90-100 uses. Each unit will fill to capacity in about 6 hours with steady use.Construction sites are required to have 1 unit per 10 workers through an 8-10 hour workday. These units can be pumped weekly or bi-weekly depending upon the number of workers.

Unit Amenities

All our portable sanitation units are the “deluxe” model and have:
  • Sinks
  • Mirrors
  • Coat hangers
  • Motion-activated lights
The double-wall construction prevents shadowing in the evening with the light on or when there is bright sunlight outside. All units are ceiling vented and have door locks.

How much does it cost to rent a portable toilet in my area?

There is a minimum charge for a unit rental, regardless of whether it is needed for a few hours or even a month. This is because there is more involved than just simply renting the unity itself:
  • Schedule the unit
  • Create the work order
  • Schedule a driver to deliver the unit
  • Set up and delivery of the unit
  • Pump out, clean and pick up the unit
  • Driving time & labor to provide the requested daily/weekly/bi-weekly service for the long-term leased unit
  • Waste disposal at the water treatment plant
Our wheelchair accessible units are accompanied by a wash station.

Each hand wash station holds 24 gallons and has a paper towel holder and sanitizing hand soap dispenser. Water is released by stepping on the foot pump. There are actually two stations, one on each side of the unit.

Payment is arranged at the time service is requested. For long-term rentals, our standard unit charge is billed on a 30-day advanced billing cycle. We require that the first month be paid in advance and then monthly statements will be sent for the long-term rentals exceeding that first 30 days. All major credit cards are accepted.

There may be a surcharge or delivery fee for Saturday or Sunday deliveries. Most weekend rentals are delivered on a Friday and picked up on Monday.

Unit Servicing

All monthly rentals are serviced bi-weekly, but arrangements can be made to service weekly (extra service charges apply). This includes pumping and cleaning the unit itself and restocking toilet paper, paper towels, sanitizing hand soap, and sink water. This service is included in the unit rental price; however, if the technician is required to drive a considerable distance to perform this service, there may be an additional service or mileage fee.

Waste Disposal

We dispose of the waste at one of 3 local waste water treatment plants, according to the procedures and regulations of each facility. All of our equipment meets state DEQ requirements and regulations.
We are available 24/7. Call us today at 541-276-6595 or 541-567-1015 with your portable toilet needs.
